BUILT AROUND
PEOPLE.
NOT JUST EVENTS.

Black Minds Matter Foundation is developing an intergenerational program ecosystem with a strong initial emphasis on young-adult engagement during the January 2027 launch phase. We organize our work around five connected areas of practice — not a long catalog of unlaunched programs.

Who It's For

Intergenerational by mission.Young-adult-forward in our first launch phase.

Youth, adults, families, elders, caregivers, and community leaders are all part of the larger BMMF ecosystem. Young adults will have stronger early visibility as pilots, conversations, and creative experiences take shape.

How BMMF Works

FIVE AREAS OF
PRACTICE.

01

Mental Wellness & Self-Love

Culturally grounded experiences that help participants reflect, process stress, strengthen emotional awareness, rebuild self-worth, and develop healthier relationships with themselves.

02

Sports, Movement & Mentorship

Using movement, coaching, teamwork, discipline, recreation, and sports as tools for wellness, confidence, connection, regulation, mentorship, and leadership.

03

Creative Expression & Storytelling

Podcasting, video, music, photography, writing, media, and storytelling — turning lived experience into expression, understanding, connection, and purpose.

04

Leadership & Practical Growth

Connecting wellness to purpose, relationships, finances, work, school, decision-making, leadership, life skills, accountability, and personal development.

05

Community Care & Connection

Community initiatives, partnerships, service projects, events, resources, intergenerational relationships, and opportunities for people to build with one another.

Initial 2027 Emphasis

YOUNG ADULTS
LEAD THE WAY.

Young adults will be a major early audience for pilots, conversations, creative experiences, wellness programming, leadership development, community projects, sports and movement engagement, and partnership-driven initiatives.

The larger BMMF mission remains intergenerational. Youth, adults, families, and elders are part of the ecosystem — but young adults carry the early momentum as the organization enters its launch phase.

We meet young adults where they are — and build with them, not at them.

Where Our Programs Stand

We won't promise programs that aren't ready. Our work is honestly named as it develops.

BMMF programs are designed for wellness education, mentorship, creative expression, and community support. They are not a replacement for licensed mental health treatment.
